More than a fight night

Punch Up at the Pā is a boxing event grounded in whanaungatanga, courage, and collective pride. It brings together whānau from across our iwi to train hard, step into the ring, and represent something bigger than themselves.

It connects whānau across rūnanga, hāpū, generations, and places through shared training, collective support, and the bravery it takes to step into the ring. This isn’t about knockouts - it’s about personal growth, accountability, and backing each other no matter the outcome. Every punch thrown is backed by months of mahi, aroha from the sidelines, and pride in representing your people.

Whether you’re a contender, supporter, or first-time attendee - this is about connection, challenge, and showing up for each other.

At its heart, Punch Up at the Pā is about bringing our people together.
